Sample Systems
[./jontech1_sample_systemenpag.html]
A natural gas application characterizes itself by the presence of condensable components such as heavier hydrocarbons, residue glycol, mercury and other components. Where our competitors do everything to keep these condensable products away from the sensor, the sample system for a Hygrophil is designed in such a manner that these components are drained out by the sample system. Without using filters, scrubber, liquid 'traps', bypass loops and what not. These systems where filters, scrubbers, liquid 'traps' etc. are used, need a lot of maintenance and if a filter breaks through or the like, this usually results in a defect sensor. The Hygrophil is resistant to this type of pollution and the aforementioned filters are therefore not applied. In this the Hygrophil distinguishes itself from all other dew point and moisture analyzers.
Apart from a standard sample system in which the Hygrophil is mounted in a safe area, it is also possible to place the Hygrophil directly next to the sample system in the field. The Hygrophil is then mounted in an explosion safe enclosure according to ATEX GII Zone IIB T5.
It is also possible to place a Hygrophil sensor directly inside the process by means of a retractable probe. With this retractable probe it is possible to take out the sensor from the process under process conditions. This retractable probe is also available with double block and bleed valves.
